Our Roots

Prairie Roots Herbals is a small family business that was born out of a dream.  Over the years our family has slowly moved away from conventional western medicine and reunited with the way our ancestors used to treat everyday illnesses.  Even as close as 100 years ago there were no pharmacies or grocery stores, people relied on what Mother Nature provided in order to survive.  Healing with plants, thriving with herbs and supporting with all that is naturally around us.  

After working in the medical industry for over 15 years, I was torn between what I was practicing at work and how I was living at home.  I saw many of the patients that were coming through could be treated naturally with plants and herbs that our bodies understand how to process rather than synthetic treatments.  Many patients would come back with side effects of those treatments and require additional treatments.  In 2023, I had seen enough and took the very scary leap to start my own line of natural herbal remedies to help people achieve their ultimate health and wellness goals. Inspired by the power and history of Ayurvedic medicine and globally agreed-upon health practices, Prairie Roots Herbals was born. I truly believe that taking care of yourself should be easy, so going back to the basics made sense.  

All of Prairie Roots Herbals ingredients are carefully sources and we use only the herbs that we would and do take ourselves. Our commitment to consistency and integrity ensures that every product we offer is of the highest quality.
